I met with an excited Mishaell to finalize the details of her bridal portrait session scheduled at the First Lady of Suffolk. A spectacular 8,000 square foot home located in historic downtown Suffolk, it was built in 1907 and has since been fully restored to its original grandeur. Each room has a unique personality and the thematic possibilities are endless. It is truly a bridal photographer’s dream come true.
As we discussed possible directions to take her bridal portrait session, I asked Mishaell what was most important to her about the photographs.
“I want to look beautiful”, she replied.
As a professional bridal photographer, I can take credit for the many setups we photographed that afternoon. I can also take credit for control and manipulation of the light and all the many things technical required to capture these stunning images. What I cannot take credit for is Mishaell’s natural beauty.
